The Story Behind The Art The art behind this throw began with Gabrielle’s dreamy original, “Summer Lovin’.” To bring it to life as a rectangular throw, we weaved in the elegant peacock and soulful guitar from another of her masterpieces, “Prosperity.” The result — a piece that feels like sunshine, music, and pure creative joy. Gabrielle's art pieces are largely inspired by home, family, being by the ocean, joy and colour. About The Artist Gabrielle Diamantis is an Australian artist working from her home studio in Peregian Beach. She has a passion for all things creative but is most known for her intricate and unique embroidery art and painting. Gabrielle draws inspiration from the beauty in everyday life. Culture, fashion, and nature are some of the common subjects in all her work. Her Art celebrates a huge love for colour, texture, and detail. Care Instructions Made from recycled cotton so hand wash or cold gentle machine wash only. Do not Tumble Dry. Woven rugs have threads that can pull. Be careful with jewellery etc when folding your rug, so the threads don't catch or pull. Size - Made to 2.2 x 1.6m - but these gorgeous throws are woven so after manufacturing they do come out slightly smaller than 2.2 x 1.6.
